The Vision
Let’s imagine young adult participants who talk about real life and faith every day in the midst of campus, dorms, apartments, work and friendship circles.
Most likely they already do!
Now imagine enhancing their desire to help people with skills to care, welcome and affirm through a training called Peer Ministry Leadership. The discovery will be that ministry is less about gatherings and programs and more about a life style. Ministry becomes more about listening than telling. Ministry is a Good Samaritan style of leadership rather, than a need to change people’s beliefs or views.
Imagine gathering throughout the year to share and support each other as participants listen, care and welcome others. Together they share the issues, concerns and how to support each other in using the PML skills.
Imagine programs of worship times and small group candle times, where your participants create a culture that expects and accepts others. It is the people and culture they create that others want to be included in.

We train people to live relational faith skills.
Relational faith is about the Good Samaritan Story but, instead of preaching and teaching it we give real life skills for living it.
What?
No lectures. No PowerPoints. No white boards. No smoke machines or laser lights.
This is a face to face, learn-by-doing, experience. You learn PML skills by entering in to the life and faith sharing of experience with everyone in the room.
A circle of chairs, engaging exercises, working in pairs, using the skills you are learning, deepening faith and yes… always fun. You and the people gathering are passionate ready to learn !
We work through at least eight of the sessions in the curriculum. We also work on facilitating skills, planning, practical uses, and next steps for your ministry.
Who?
You and those who help you guide and lead. Along with your core young adults
You will want a few of your participants to be your future trainers and mentors for your next Peer Ministry Leadership.
