YOU WORK WITH YOUNG TEENS?
YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS!
Youth are keenly aware of friends who feel hurt, lonely, bullied, and left out. Without Peer Ministry skills, youth are left to unneeded drama and gossip.
As youth seek a faith with purpose and meaning, they learn that daily caring and welcoming is the very core, the very front lines of a living ministry. Peer Ministry skills build confidence for being a caring friend.

WHO TO INCLUDE
You, your adults, and a select group of early teen leaders. Add in some of your High School Peer Ministry Leaders who can help facilitate and mentor younger youth.
STYLE OF TRAINING
The Everyday Samaritan training, whether it is on Zoom or in person, is a highly interactive, learn-by-doing experience. No laser lights or smoke machines. No long lectures or boring slide shows either.
In many ways, the participants become the curriculum. Each concept is introduced with a creative, youth friendly experience followed by practicing skills with one or two others. People learn by naming what they are learning.
Skills become even more real as you encourage your group to use their skills after the training.
WHY INVEST IN TRAINING?
You can only teach what you live!
People learn from people modeling and mentoring these skills. The curriculum and training is amazing, but the real learning will come when you and your leaders live it!
Frankly, this should be required for every confirmation program. It turns head knowledge into heartfelt, doable practices!
Peer Ministry’s Everyday Samaritan is a wonderful way to help kids dig deep and learn to be truly intentional in their relationships.
We have been working through Everyday Samaritan with our confirmation kids again this year, and they LOVE that material. I consistently hear that it is the most applicable material we cover during confirmation, so thanks for that!
This program is awesome. The kids really got into it and I think they learned a lot.
We use PML as part of our 7th grade pre-confirmation for students and parents. Talking about relationships, having the students and parents get to know each other and themselves better, taking time to see what the Bible says about everyday life. At the end parents thanked me for the opportunity to spend our time in this way.
This teaches kids to DO LOVE not just talk about love.
