Peer Ministry Leadership

Leadership Training

April 20, 2011 by newpeermin

from Taylor – at St. Jude of the Lake

I’m so excited about beginning to work with peer ministers at our parish. I know that working with our youth to become peer ministers will enliven in them (and in myself) a greater intentionality and awareness of their everyday call to ministry as disciples of Jesus. Participating in the training for adult facilitators took the manual off of the page, and allowed me to understand how to put the training in action. When scanning through the written manual I felt excited about what it could offer, but uncertain of how it would look for our youth. In attending the training, I gained a confident vision of the content as well as how to bring it to life for our high school peer ministers.
